system to our west. this frontal system has really pumped up the volume on those southerly winds across our area today. that really warmed our area up very nicely with most of the high temperatures well into the 60s to lower 70s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will continue with those brisk southerly winds across our area. this will keep most of our overnight temperatures in the unseasonably mild 50s and 60s. we will see the aforementioned cold front move into our area just shortly before sunrise. this will bring us a good chance for some showers and thunderstorms in our area for our monday morning. while most of the severe weather overnight will stay to our west, we will see a few isolated thunderstorms get a little on the hefty side at times on our monday. the main culprit with these thunderstorms will be in the form of some strong and gusty winds at times. this frontal system will move to our east by tomorrow evening and we will see our skies clear out as the evening goes along. we will see drier and seasonable air as the rule in our area for most of the upcoming work week. we will see another frontal system in our area by later in the week and into the weekend. this will bring us another chance for some scattered to patchy showers and thunderstorms at times. vice president mike pence arrived in israel today
