investigators in verona are not sure yet what caused to school buses to catch fire at the verona elementary school early this morning. wayne hereford has more on the investigation as he joins us live from verona. its a very unusual case right now as the state fire marshal's investigators along with the verona fire department are searching for answers. those two buses , sitting in front of the school, were burned very badly. ." "basically what we have here was a fire at verona elementary school happened last night approximately between 1:30 and 2:00." fire chief andrew bernard hooper was on the scene this morning along with members of the state fire marshal's office . all they would say right now is that the case of two burned buses is under investigation. "it was first seen by an on-duty police officer that first witnessed the fire and we got the initial call afterwards." its a bad situation that has left some in the community shocked. "that's just horrible i couldn't imagine having to worry about my children." "this world is getting worse and worse . we all need a lot of prayer." now the fire ,as the chief mentioned ,was seenby apolice officer making his rounds. he also says the fire was not hard to put out and the fuel tanks were still intact. the fire is still under investigation. meanwhile , the school principal says , the school bus routes will continue as normal as they have two substitute buses that
