Wreck claims life of north Alabama woman

The crash happened southeast of Huntsville and killed a 26-year-old woman from Grant.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WTVA) - A crash killed a north Alabama woman Wednesday night.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash happened approximately four miles west of Grant, Alabama.

Grant is approximately 23 miles southeast of Huntsville.

Madison Martin, 26, of Grant, was killed when the pickup truck she was driving left the road and struck a tree, according to Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Daniel did not provide any further information due to the ongoing investigation.
