BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — The pharmacy school at William Carey University is now fully accredited.
The university, in a news release Tuesday, announced its School of Pharmacy received full accreditation last month from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
WCU's Tradition campus Dean Cassandra Conner said receiving that status strengthens the school's goal of ensuring its graduates are prepared to fully serve their communities.
WCU President Tommy King said it's also a major step toward becoming the premier institution in the Gulf South for providing healthcare programs.
