Silver Alert issued for missing Jackson man

A Silver Alert has been issued for John Harrell of Jackson.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Jackson man.

John Harrell, 68, was last seen walking near North State Street in Jackson at approximately 9:05 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.

He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

He stands 6 feet in height and weighs approximately 260 pounds. He has brown eyes, as well as black and gray hair.

Family members said he suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1234.
