ALICEVILLE, Ala. (WTVA) - A shooting killed two people overnight in Pickens County.
Sheriff Todd Hall said four people were shot in total, ABC 33/40 in Birmingham reported.
The shooting happened in the area of 1st Street SW at 15th Street after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
One of the victims killed was an 18-year-old Aliceville High School student named Lacurtiseous Peebles, the TV station reported. His family said he was on the Aliceville High football team.
The TV station also reported a junior at Aliceville High School, identified as Cornelius Burns, was injured in the shooting. He's in critical condition at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi.
