BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say a man died in a barrage of gunfire outside a convenience store in Birmingham, one of two slayings in the city over the weekend.
Al.com reports that the man was found Sunday on the ground outside the store in the Ensley neighborhood near a black Dodge Challenger.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald says the unidentified shooter fired multiple rounds at the victim before leaving in a vehicle.
In a separate shooting early Saturday morning, Treven Williams was gunned down in east Birmingham.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin says he was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
