JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi’s governor extended the state’s Safe Return order an extra week.
Gov. Tate Reeves made the announcement on Friday, June 26.
The amended order is set to expire on Monday, July 6 at 8 a.m.
The amended order allows concession stands at outdoor sports complexes and multi-field complexes to open.
Staff who come in direct contact with customers will be provided a cloth mask, and staff members must wear masks while working.
Customers should follow social distancing, and customers are not allowed to congregate in the area of the concession stand.
Before working, staff must be screened for the virus.
The amended order also allows pools to be open to the public 24 hours a day. The public should practice social distancing and avoid group gatherings.
