JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Hundreds of Mississippi National Guard (MSNG) soldiers have returned home after being deployed to Washington, D.C. to support local law enforcement and military personnel.
Law enforcement and military personnel have been used to quell any violence as protests continue across the nation following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The MSNG was part of approximately 5,000 National Guard soldiers activated from 11 states.
