MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WTVA) - Masks will soon no longer be mandated in Alabama, the governor announced Wednesday.
This updated order goes into effect at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 9, and is scheduled to expire at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5.
Gov. Kay Ivey still encourages the public to wear masks or facial coverings when in public and in close contact with other people.
