JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The state health department reported 680 new cases of the coronavirus and 14 new deaths Tuesday, June 30.
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) updates its case totals each morning based on test results from the previous day.
New COVID-19 related deaths reported to MSDH as of 6 p.m. Monday.

As of Tuesday, June 30, MSDH estimates 19,388 people have recovered from the virus.
Since mid-March, when the state reported its first case of the virus, MSDH has reported 27,247 total cases and 1,073 total deaths.
