JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The state health department reported 374 new cases of the coronavirus and 21 new deaths Wednesday, June 10.
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) updates its case totals each morning based on test results from the previous day.

New coronavirus-related deaths reported to MSDH as of 6 p.m. Tuesday:
- Attala - 1
- Clay - 1
- Copiah - 1
- Forrest - 1
- Jefferson - 1
- Lauderdale - 3
- Leake - 2
- Leflore - 1
- Madison - 1
- Neshoba - 1
- Newton - 1
- Oktibbeha - 1
- Webster - 1
- Winston - 1
Four confirmed coronavirus-related deaths between May 26 and June 1 were identified from death certificate reports. The additional deaths were reported in the following counties:
- Holmes - 1
- Lee - 2
- Simpson - 1
As of Wednesday, June 10, MSDH estimates 13,356 people have recovered from the virus.
Since mid-March, when the state reported its first case of the virus, MSDH has reported 18,483 total cases and 868 total deaths.
