JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) reported 1,395 new COVID-19 cases and 19 new deaths Thursday, Nov. 19.
New COVID-19 related deaths reported to MSDH as of 6 p.m. Wednesday. Eighteen deaths occurred on November 13 and November 18 in the counties below.

One COVID-19 related death occurred October 1, identified from death certificate reports.

As of Thursday, Nov. 19, there have been 138,791 total cases of the virus since mid-March, which is when the state reported its first case. There have been 3,619 total deaths.
The state health department estimates there have been 116,683 recoveries.
