SIMPSON COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) —Law enforcement captured the suspect in a deadly shooting of a sheriff's deputy in Simpson County.
WLBT TV reported law enforcement captured Joaquin Steven Blackwell, 22, Saturday afternoon.
The fallen deputy was identified as James Blair who was 77 years old.
Law enforcement is trying to find a man following the reported fatal shooting Friday of a sheriff's deputy in Simpson County.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued an alert for the public hoping to find Joaquin Steven Blackwell, 22, describing him as an armed and dangerous suspect.
According to that alert, Blackwell may be in the D'Lo area of Simpson County. Someone last saw him only wearing white boxer shorts.
