JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi’s Circuit Clerk Offices have received almost 59,000 absentee ballots for the November general election.
The Statewide Election Management System (SEMS) reported the following as of Sunday, Oct. 11:
- 91,474 absentee ballots requested through Circuit Clerk Offices
- 86,609 absentee ballots sent to voters from Circuit Clerk Offices
- 58,796 completed absentee ballots returned to Circuit Clerk Offices
The in-person absentee voting deadline is Saturday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.
All mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, and received within five business days of the election.
