OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - RebelGrove.com was the first to report that former Colorado head football coach Mike MacIntyre will be Ole Miss' next defensive coordinator.

Colorado fired MacIntyre in November after six seasons.

Pending university approval, MacIntyre has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal worth $1.5 million per season.

This will be MacIntyre's second stint with Ole Miss.  MacIntyre previously coached Rebel wide receivers and defensive backs from 1999-2002.

MacIntyre replaces Wesley McGriff, who was let go following the season.
