Pine Grove defeats McAdams for 1A girls title

The Lady Panthers have won back-to-back state championships.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Karlie Rogers scored ten points and grabbed 20 rebounds as Pine Grove defeated McAdams, 56-34, to win the Class 1A girls state basketball championship on Thursday.

Loren Elliot scored a game-high 19 points for the Lady Panthers, who won their second consecutive state title. Taylor Fletcher added eleven points for Pine Grove, which finished with a 34-3 record.

Jakyra Young led McAdams (22-10) with 12 points.
