SECAUCUS, N.J. (WTVA) -- Northeast Mississippi had a busy day on day two of the MLB Draft with two Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs taken. Bulldog pitcher J.T. Ginn was the first to hear his name called when he was drafted 52nd overall by the New York Mets.
DeSoto High School Jaguar and Mississippi State commit, Blaze Jordan, was drafted in the third round by the Boston Red Sox.
For Ole Miss, Anthony Servideo will join rival shortstop Jordan Westburg on the Baltimore Orioles after being selected in the third round. Rebel teammate, Tyler Keenan was selected in the fourth round by the Seattle Mariners.
