OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA/Ole Miss Athletics) – Coming off the first SEC Championship in program history and second straight trip to the NCAA Championships, the Ole Miss women’s golf unveiled their upcoming 2019-20 schedule, head coach Kory Henkes announced on Tuesday.

“We are extremely excited to kick off our season in the upcoming weeks,” Henkes said. “We have a schedule that will allow us to play in some of the best tournaments all over the country, as well as Mexico.

“We’ll compete against top-notch teams week in and week out that will really push our players to put their best foot forward in every tournament. Our team consists of a talented group who are eager to get back on campus and start competing again.”

The Rebels begin the season at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational (Sept. 9-10) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wrapping up the first month of the season, Ole Miss will head to the Golfweek Conference Challenge (Sept. 23-25) in Wolcott, Colorado, for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

Ole Miss begins a busy October by making the trip to Chicago for the Illini Women’s Invitational at Medinah (Oct. 7-8) before heading back to the Jim West Challenge (Oct. 20-21) in San Marcos, Texas.

The Rebels wrap up the fall season by heading to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for the Battle at the Beach (Nov. 1-3). It will be the first tournament in Mexico since the El Tigre Invitational in the spring of 2017.

Ole Miss begins the spring slate by heading to Melbourne, Florida, for the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 17-18).

The Rebels kick off a busy March when they head to Augusta, Georgia, for the Valspar Augusta Invitational (March 14-15) and stay in the Peach State for the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic (March 20-22) in Athens. The Evans Derby Experience (March 27-29) wraps up the month of March.

The final tune-up before the SEC Championships comes when Ole Miss hosts The Grove Cup (April 7-8) at the Ole Miss Golf Course.
