OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA/Ole Miss Athletics) – The Ole Miss men’s golf team announced its upcoming schedule for the 2019-20 season, featuring a return to five events from this past season to go with five new sites, head coach Chris Malloy announced on Tuesday.

“We are extremely excited about how our schedule turned out for this season,” Malloy said. “It will be a great blend of some new courses as well as others that we have a lot of familiarity with. A major goal of ours is to get on every different type of grass that we may see before we get to postseason play. You never know where you will get sent for an NCAA Regional site, so we need to be sure that we have competed on that kind of grass. I know that our guys can’t wait to challenge themselves.”

Ole Miss opens up the 2019-20 campaign in Madison, Wisconsin for the Badger Invitational (Sept. 8-10). Staying in the Midwest, the Rebels will follow their season opener with a trip to Chicago for the Windon Memorial (Sept. 16-17).

The Rebels return to the Jerry Pate Collegiate (Oct. 7-8) for the first time since the 2014-15 season before heading to Johnson City, Tennessee for the Bank of America Intercollegiate (Oct. 11-13). Ole Miss closes out the fall season by heading to the island of Hawaii for the seventh-straight time, playing in the Hoakalei Country Club Invitational (Oct. 27-29).

Ole Miss’ spring slate begins with a trip to Puerto Rico (Feb. 16-18). The team remains international when they return to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the Querencia Cabo Collegiate (March 1-3) for the eighth-straight season.

The Rebels out west with a trip to California, making their fourth consecutive appearance in the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 9-10). Ole Miss remains in the Magnolia State for the final tune-up before the conference championship by heading to West Point for the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship (April 13-14), where they finished runner-up a season ago.

The SEC Championship returns to St. Simons Island, Georgia for the 20th year. The Rebels will get their postseason started on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club (April 22-26).
