COLLIERVILLE, TN (WTVA) -- After a monster 2nd quarter, the Ole Miss Rebels Women's Basketball team held on to defeat Colorado, 65-56.
Shakira Austin was the star in the previous two games, but tonight the Rebel starters launched an all out assault with four players in double figures.
With the win, that means head coach Yolett Mcphee-Mccuin will be able to return to the sidelines to coach her team. Today is day ten of her isolation, which means tomorrow she can be back in the gym and she's going to waste zero time.
"I'll be in there at midnight if you're looking for me," Coach Yo said. "Because of technology I was still involved, so I was at every practice every film every pregame I'm exhausted."
The Rebels advance to the semifinals of the WNIT where they'll face off against Northern Iowa on Friday at 7 P.M. It will be the first time in program history that they will play in the final four of a postseason tournament.
