OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) – Ole Miss Quarterback Shea Patterson has announced he will transfer to the University of Michigan.

The former Rebel went to Twitter to make his announcement.

“Thank you to the wonderful people, teammates and coaches at Ole Miss. It is a special place and I will always have great memories of my experiences in Oxford,” he stated.

This comes after his season-ending injury in 2017 which led to backup quarterback Jordan Ta’amu leading the Rebels to several wins.

Patterson was one of the Rebels’ prized recruits for the 2016 recruiting class.
