NEW SITE, Miss. (WTVA) - Twenty-nine-year-old Andy McGregor received school board approval Monday night to be the next head baseball coach at New Site High School.

McGregor replaces Wesley McCullough, who stepped down in May to take an administrative job in Alcorn County.

McGregor comes to New Site from Pontotoc High School, where he served as an assistant baseball coach in six of his seven years there.

The Royals fell to East Webster in the second round of the 2018 2A baseball playoffs.
