NETTLETON, Miss. (WTVA) - For the Gardners, playing basketball at Northeast Mississippi Community College is a family affair.

Nettleton head boys basketball coach Grant Gardner played for the Tigers in the mid-90s.  Grant's brother Guy played for Northeast in the late 90s and early 2000s.  Guy is a member of the NEMCC Sports Hall of Fame.

On Wednesday, Grant Gardner's son Grady signed with NEMCC basketball.

As a senior point guard at Nettleton, Grady averaged 15.1 points per game and was the district 4-3A MVP.

'It's an amazing experience, really, cause I get to have the chance to be able and raise banners and win state championships like they did,' said Grady Gardner.
