Montgomery joins Starkville High football staff

He was on Louisville's staff last season.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Former Columbus High School head football coach Randal Montgomery has hired as Starkville High School's new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Montgomery confirmed his hire with WTVA on Thursday. His hire was first reported by our news partner, the Starkville Daily News.

Last season, Montgomery was the offensive coordinator at Class 4A state champion Louisville. He led Columbus to the Class 6A playoffs in 2015 and 2016 and led Hazlehurst to the Class 3A state championship in 2012.
