STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA/MSU Athletics) – Second-year Mississippi State head football coach Joe Moorhead will headline the 2019 Road Dawgs Tour as it makes stops throughout the state and region beginning Wednesday, April 24 in Nashville and continuing May 13-16.

The annual fan-friendly event and celebration of MSU Athletics is a collaboration by the MSU Bulldog Club, MSU Alumni Association and local alumni chapters. It will feature eight stops, including four stops in Mississippi – Starkville, Olive Branch, Stoneville and Biloxi – and four other stops in the region – Nashville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; New Orleans, Louisiana and Dallas, Texas. Other special guests will join Moorhead throughout the tour.

The Nashville event at Hillwood Country Club kicks off the tour on April 24, the night before the 2019 NFL Draft that could see a school-record number of Bulldogs selected.

Road Dawgs resumes on May 13 with a lunch event in Starkville followed by a dinner stop in Birmingham. For the first time since 2009, the tour will hold an event in New Orleans, site of the Bulldogs’ 2019 season-opener against Louisiana. Details on each tour stop are below.
