McQuary dismissed from MSU baseball team

He played high school baseball at Houston.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi State's baseball team has one less pitcher on its roster.

Our news partner, the Starkville Daily News, reports that junior righthander Denver McQuary has been dismissed for a violation of team rules.

McQuary, who played at Houston High School, appeared in 40 games for the Diamond Dogs over the last two seasons, including a start against Oklahoma in last year's Tallahassee Regional.
