MSU's Victoria Vivians named SEC Player of the Week

Victoria Vivians continues her impressive career at MSU.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WTVA) – Mississippi State basketball player Victoria Vivians has been named the Southeastern Conference’s Player of the Week for Week 7.

The conference announced the honor Tuesday. This marks her second time to receive the honor in a four-week span.

She was recently named Duel in the Desert Rebel Division MVP for the Bulldogs’ wins over UNLV and No. 22 Syracuse to run their record to 13-0.

During the two games, she averaged 24.0 points and 7.5 rebounds.

She also became the third player in Lady Bulldog history to score 2,000-career points.
