MSU to open baseball season a few hours earlier Friday

The Bulldogs’ three-game series versus Wright State will also include a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi State will open its 2020 baseball season a few hours earlier Friday due to cold weather.

The university’s athletics department announced Wednesday that the first pitch will be at 1 p.m. on Friday against Wright State in Starkville.

The Bulldogs’ three-game series versus Wright State will also include a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.
