STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA/MSU Athletics) – The first piece of Mississippi State’s 2019-20 schedule has been set as the Bulldogs are slated to participate at the Myrtle Beach Invitational.
The three-game, eight-team tournament runs from November 21-22 and 24 hosted by the HTC Center in Conway, South Carolina. All 12 games will be carried by the ESPN family of networks.
The Bulldogs are joined by fellow 2018-19 NCAA Tournament participants Baylor and Villanova along with host Coastal Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Ohio, Tulane and Utah. Matchups and game times will be unveiled at a later date.
Mississippi State will make its return to the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday, January 25 during the 2019-20 season. The 10 matchups will be released by the conference offices in May.
Mississippi State posted a 23-11 record last season and secured the program’s 11th NCAA Tournament appearance. The Bulldogs have dialed up 48 victories over the last two seasons which is fourth among SEC schools.
