MSU baseball routs ULM

MSU visits Tennessee this weekend.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Dustin Skelton drove in six runs, including a grand slam, as Mississippi State defeated Louisiana-Monroe, 21-8, on Wednesday night.

Jake Mangum was 5-of-6 with three RBI. It was Mangum's third career five-hit game and second this season.

The Diamond Dogs (25-5) scored all of their runs in three innings - seven in the first, ten in the fourth and four in the sixth. It's the most runs scored by MSU in a single game since 2010.

MSU visits Tennessee in a three-game series beginning Friday.

ULM dropped to 11-18.
