MSU baseball routs Southeastern Louisiana

The Bulldogs improve to 8-1.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Justin Foscue hit a grand slam in the first inning as Mississippi State cruised to a 12-0 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday night.

Peyton Plumlee allowed just one hit over six innings to earn his first victory of the season.

MSU (8-1) plays Sam Houston State on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the Frisco Classic in Texas. The Bulldogs will play Texas Tech on Saturday and Nebraska on Sunday.

Southeastern Louisiana fell to 2-6.
