OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss named Lane Kiffin its head football coach Saturday evening.
Kiffin comes to Oxford from Florida Atlantic University where his teams won two Conference USA titles in his three seasons as head coach.
He had prior stints as a head coach with the NFL's Oakland Raiders and in college with Tennessee and Southern California. He also was the offensive coordinator at Alabama.
Kiffin replaces Matt Luke, who was dismissed after three seasons.
The university will introduce Kiffin Monday at 1 p.m. at The Pavilion at Ole Miss. The public can attend.
