OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - History was made Monday at Lafayette County High School.
Brandon Turnage became the first Commodore to receive and accept an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Turnage received his jersey at a ceremony ni the Lafayette High gym.
Turnage is a two-way player who leads the Commodores in interceptions and receiving yards.
Turnage has verbally committed to Alabama.
The game will be played January 3, 2019 in Orlando.
"It's gonna be fun," said Turnage. "It's gonna be good going against better people, like top athletes."
