ICC softball splits pair of games at NJCAA World Series

ICC will face Johnson County Community College of Kansas in an elimination game Friday at noon at Traceway Park in Clinton.

CLINTON, Miss. (WTVA) - Itawamba Community College softball's run at the NJCAA Division II National Championship Tournament will continue for at least one more day.

The Indians lost their second-round game to Highland, Kan., 11-3, but rallied to win an elimination game over Cuyahoga, Ohio, 5-3, on Thursday.

ICC (40-15-1) trailed, 3-0, in the nightcap before scoring five runs in the sixth inning to earn the win.

The Indians will face Johnson County Community College of Kansas in an elimination game Friday at noon at Traceway Park in Clinton.
