ICC releases 2019 baseball schedule

Ten of the Indians’ first 14 games will be played at Roy Cresap Field in Fulton before later facing a stretch of 10-straight road games midway through the heart of division play.

FULTON, Miss. (WTVA/ICC Athletics) – Twenty-two home games highlight Itawamba Community College’s 46-game 2019 baseball schedule, which was released on Wednesday by Indians’ head coach Rick Collier.

Ten of the Indians’ first 14 games will be played at Roy Cresap Field in Fulton before later facing a stretch of 10-straight road games midway through the heart of division play.

ICC will host non-division doubleheaders against Snead State (Feb. 9), Rend Lake College (Feb. 16), Lake Land College (Feb. 23), Calhoun (Mar. 2), and Columbia State (Mar. 5)

The Indians will open division play with a pair of road games at Meridian (Mar. 16). Home division doubleheaders will include: East Mississippi (Mar. 19), Pearl River (Mar. 23), Holmes (Marc. 27), Northwest (Apr. 16), Co-Lin (Apr. 19), Hinds (Mar. 27), and Mississippi Delta (Apr. 30).

Last season, the Indians finished 33-17 and advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Tournament at LSU Eunice.
