FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- Itawamba Community College football was back on the field for its first day of practice. The Tribe don't start its regular season until the first week in October.
East Mississippi Community College certainly threw a wrench into the scheduling plans for this fall. Coach Sean Cannon told me that the rumblings right now are that they will play one conference opponent twice during the abbreviated regular season. Regardless of the changes, Coach Cannon and the players are glad to be back on the practice field after the long break.
"I was talking to my kids pre-practice, asking them if they have amnesia," Cannon said. "We didn't get to do spring football and all that, good to get out here officially, get the kids moving around and starting some football."
