HATLEY, Miss. (WTVA) - Hatley High senior Taylor Andrews signed with the Mississippi Delta Community College women's basketball program on Thursday.

Andrews led the Lady Tigers in points and rebounds per game during the 2018-19 season.

Hatley fell to Yazoo County in the first round of the class 3A state basketball playoffs.

Andrews' decision to go to Moorhead was made easier by Delta's earlier signing of a pair of players from Nettleton.

'I was kind of nervous about going,' said Andrews.  'I didn't know if I was gonna know anybody, but when I figured out that they (Macy McMillan/Sharnec Mosely) were signing I got really excited cause I knew I was gonna know a few people on the team.  I'm really excited to play on the team.'
