Gray signs as first volleyball member at BMC

Hickory Flat won its division in 2018 and make an appearance in the state semifinals.

HICKORY FLAT, Miss. (WTVA/BMC Athletics) – Hickory Flat's Grace Gray added her name to the Blue Mountain College history books this week, signing to become the first-ever member of the BMC volleyball team.

During her senior season, Gray had 401 digs, 114 aces, 341 assists and 81 sets for the Rebels.

“I’m so excited to get to compete at the college level with BMC,” Gray said. “I know I’ll have to work hard, but I’m ready.”

BMC head coach Reid Gann commented, “Grace is a great player to help lead our inaugural team at Blue Mountain. She is a seasoned player who we believe will make strong contributions to our program. We’re happy to have her.”
