Bay Springs downs Ingomar for Class 2A boys championship

Bay Springs won its first state title in four years.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Kevin Grimes scored 20 points and Chad Jones added nineteen points as Bay Springs defeated Ingomar 56-51 in Friday's MHSAA Class 2A boys state championship game.

Bay Springs won its first state title since 2015.

Nathan Weeden and Zach Shugars each scored 12 points to lead Ingomar, which was seeking its first boys state crown since 2010.
