FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) - Itawamba County deputies helped recovered several malnourished dogs from a home Sunday and arrested the homeowner.
According to the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded Sunday to a welfare concern at a home on Joe Wheeler Brown Road.

There they found four full-size Great Danes in cages without food and water. Investigators say they also found 16 more animals in the home without food and water.
Two puppies were found dead in the home, along with a raccoon that had been caged without food and water.
According to the sheriff’s department, a rescue agency removed the animals.
Deputies arrested Jayla Rogers who faces five counts of animal cruelty.
