Woman dies in early Saturday accident in Tishomingo County

A woman is dead after her car crashed in Tishomingo County near the Tennessee line.

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A woman is dead after her truck crashed in Tishomingo County near the Tennessee line.

Coroner Mack Wilemon identified her as April Christine Mook, 40.

The accident happened on Highway 350 about five miles west of Highway 25.

According to Wilemon, someone was passing by before 3 a.m. Saturday and noticed the wreck.

The coroner added that it appeared the truck was heading west and flipped several times before it stopped on the south shoulder of the highway.

Mook was thrown from the truck.
