TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The owners of the Tupelo Furniture Market are already making plans for their next furniture market.
The flea market originally scheduled for this upcoming weekend has been canceled, the Market confirmed Tuesday. Why? Many vendors are at high risk for the coronavirus.
However, Market employees are still preparing for the furniture market to happen in August.
Since other furniture markets around the country have been canceled, CEO V.M. Cleveland expects the upcoming Tupelo Furniture Market in August to be great.
A furniture market is scheduled for July in Las Vegas. However, because of travel problems, many vendors are not going to attend, he said.
Even though the market is still months away, Cleveland said some of his vendors have already booked their spots.
The upcoming furniture market is scheduled for Aug. 13-16.
