West Point police search for building break-in suspect

West Point police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a building during the weekend.

WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) - West Point police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a building during the weekend. 

West Point Police Chief Avery Cook says the suspect broke into the old Mary Holmes campus Saturday afternoon. 

He says the suspect gained access by throwing a brick through the front door of the building on Highway 50 West. 

Once inside, Chief Cook says the man ransacked the place as he went from office to office but he did not take anything. 

West Point police have released surveillance video of the break-in in hopes someone can identify the suspect.
