WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) - Police are investigating after a car was stolen but later found burned in Oktibbeha County.
The West Point Police Department posted to its Facebook page about a vehicle stolen from Brame Avenue on Tuesday.
Later, police updated the post and stated the vehicle was found burned in Oktibbeha County.
Officers were able to identify the vehicle by its VIN number.
The vehicle was a 2014 black KIA Optima with the license plate number CYA 1942.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the West Point Police Department, Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department or Crime Stoppers.
