WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) - West Point police are investigating three shootings that happened Sunday morning.
Detective Ramirez Ivy went live on Facebook to give an update about the shootings.
He said the first shooting happened around 2:28 a.m. Some residents were shot at, but there were no injuries reported.
The second shooting happened around 6:30 a.m. near High Street. Ivy said some residents were shot at, but there were no injuries reported.
The third shooting happened around 7 a.m. near Grove Street. He said the male shooting victim was injured and was flown to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
The victim is in stable condition according to family and medical staff, Ivy said.
