Tupelo, Miss. (WTVA) -- Dozens of volunteers from area churches were making sure those in need would have a merry and bright Christmas.
It's part of the ministry focus of the Christians On the Move to Evangelize organization.
More than 400 plates were delivered to shut-ins, elderly and jail inmates throughout North Mississippi on Christmas.
Bishop Clarence Parks is one of the organizers.
"I really believe it means that someone cares enough about them to take time out to prepare them a dinner and say that they love them and they are concerned about them," Parks said.
Organizers say this is the 29th year to coordinate feeding those in need on Christmas Day.
