ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - Surveillance video shows the moment a truck collided with a clock in Aberdeen.

The clock stood in the median of Commerce Street.

The clock, which was placed there in 2013 to honor city leaders, was toppled during the weekend.

Aberdeen Main Street Director Ann Tackett believes the collision was an accident.

She said the Main Street is willing to let bygones be bygones, but officials would like the driver of the truck to come forward.

The clock’s cost was estimated at approximately $23,000.
