VERONA, Miss. (WTVA) - Verona police say the victims of a drive-by shooting are not providing information to investigators.
Verona and Lee County law enforcement officers responded to the shooting Sunday night on East 10th Street.
The shooter or shooters pulled up alongside the victims’ vehicle and opened fire, according to Interim Verona Police Chief Johnny Patterson.
He said the driver was struck three times in the thigh, and the passenger was shot in the face.
Both victims have since been released from the hospital.
Police officers found more than 15 shell casings, and they found around 13 bullet holes in the victims' vehicle.
