VERONA, Miss. (WTVA) - Family members say two people were injured in a shooting at a convenience store in Verona early Sunday morning.
Surveillance video from the Super C on Raymond Avenue shows two males shooting across the gas station around 12:30 a.m.

Those two males appear to be dodging gunshots coming from the opposite direction.

According to family members, the two people shot were innocent bystanders.

Police are not saying much about the shooting.

Chief J.B. Long said originally on Tuesday he was not aware of that shooting.

Later, he would only say the shooting is under investigation.
